The Association of Intervention Specialists

The Association of Intervention Specialist (AIS) is a network of interventionists located throughout the country and abroad. Members guide families and friends, business executives, and others through the intervention process whereby a person engaged in self-destructive behavior is encouraged to accept help. All members meet or exceed basic educational and performance standards and all adhere to AIS Code of Ethics.

Meetings

AIS members meet several times each year. The last meeting took place in November 2008 in Cancun, Mexico where AIS presented information on their program to the members present.  The next meeting is scheduled for May 2009 at CeDAR in Aurora, CO.
